Love - The Journey From Dark To Light

Love IS!

Love, a simple four letter word has has no beginning and no end. It is the Alpha and the Omega. We write about it, sing about, find creative ways to express it, are willing to die for it, yet, in truth we do not know what it is. We mistake a gamut of negative emotions, pain and suffering for love. We say we endure suffering for love, but do we really?

 

We speak of love and fear - polar opposites as if they are a reality. This is not true, Love is an absolute, a constant in our lives that we fail to recognise as the governing force in our existence.

 

We express this thing we call Love in two basic forms - the dark (fear) and the light (Love). The journey to love is the voyage from the dark lower dimensions of the love spectrum to the heady realms of the kaleidoscope of the Light, the divine aspect of Love. 

The only true absolute truth about Love is that IT IS!!! From its darkest expression to the lofty heights of its divine expression Love is in play in our lives. In the upper realm it brings out the very best in all of us, at its darkest it forces us to look within and seek our passage back to our true selves.

Love has no opposite it is not a bi-polar force, Love is the unifying force in our universe. Love is unity, constantly at play bringing us to a place of healing, back to a sense of belonging. Most, if not all health issues have a lack of higher dimensional love at its core, as we are over-focussed in the Fear realm, too worried about our lower selves.

Love is an inner journey, yet most look outwardly for it. We seek people, places and events to fill us with the feeling of connectedness, when it lays hidden and sometimes untouched within us. We can not fully Love another until we can delve into our own shadow, that hidden inner world of doubts, worry and fear and bring them to light to be healed. We can pretend to be Loving and caring when deep in the recesses of our inner self we are really seeking a reduction in our pain through an outside source.

To Love, to truly Love we must journey inward through the corridors of hurt, pain and deception. We must be willing to confront the Great Lies we have embraced and reach for something esoteric, that hidden truth, which whilst always existing, we have managed to push aside or ignored. 

Love will not be denied, we can fight it, resist it, push against it until at some point it?s gentle action, like waves on the beach eventually dissolve our limitations leaving us standing naked before it?s true exquisite nature. We are Love, it is how we choose to express it that governs which end of it's colour spectrum we experience.

In those rare moments when we sail close it?s its central core, Love leaves us spellbound, brings us to tears or takes our breath away. Its impact is life changing, when we find the courage to embrace it. Love is non physical, all encompassing and in those moments of rapture or ecstasy our physicality changes. Love, when embraced, nurtures and changes us, we can no longer be satisfied with the world of fear and limitation. In that moment we connect with the Power of the Universe, God, Source, whatever name you use, we change, and for the better.

The change to a place of willingness can be a brutal process, the journey back to Love through the portals of honesty takes immense courage, it is the Hero?s journey, the shamanic ritual of allowing the lesser self to pass and for the higher self, the enlightened Christed self to arise. It is painful, uncomfortable, terrifying but in the end, the only game in town. Whether we choose this lifetime or another, we will travel the path back home. Our path may lead through Hell, yet we will always come home - to Love. If in this dimension or some other Mansion in the heavenly realms the journey is always upward. We can resist, hold ourselves back, deny it?s truth, but eventually we are all going home - to Love. 

All the enlightened Masters, Saints and Advanced Souls express the higher quality of Love, they have come to the divine realisation of the deeper truth. Whether through spiritual or sexual practice, those on the path will come to experience, the orgasmic realisation of their connection to a higher source. Actually for most normal people the sexual orgasm is as close to God, Source they will experience on their earthly walk. How wonderful if they could connect consciously with the something greater in these moments. Whichever route we take, there is no escaping we are journeying home. 

To truly grasp Love we need to Go Within, delve into our sub conscious fears and limitations and Love each one back to the light. This journey is a neurological, chemical, mental, emotional, physical and spiritual adventure down the rabbit hole of Mistruths, Lies and False beliefs. It is applying the piercing Light of Truth into all areas of our lives and healing each with Love. It is Loving ourselves fully and wholly, forgiving and being Grateful for each and every experience. It will be brutal, facing truth after living a lie is challenging. It is not for the faint hearted. It is a road less travelled which brings us to a place of exquisite beauty, heaven on earth.

There is no Plan B, sooner or later Love is going to win, no use resisting or pushing against it. This lifetime or the next we will return to the source of our true selves. We are truly Gods and Goddesses, it can not be any other way. All the great books tell us God is within, it is time to stop trying to convince ourselves this is not true.The power of the universe is within each of us. The power to change our lives and those around us pulses in our veins, we are divine beings. We can not be anything else, whether we choose the path of the Dark or turn towards the Light, our divinity is in play. We are either improving our world or being an example of what needs to be changed.

Remember Darth Vader in Star Wars, he turned to the Dark in a misguided act of love to save his wife. His fear took him down the longest path home. Most movies are the Hero?s journey, a tale about the path back to Love.

We live in a world where the Dark has held sway for thousands of years, the Kali Yuga of the Hindi belief system. We have allowed our fears and limitations to blind us to our true nature. Within each of us is a dark and light aspect. The art of change is to use our light to bring healing to the dark hidden parts of ourselves. It will be painful, we will feel intimidated, unloved at times, our storehouse of negativity will seem over whelming as we wade through the mire of our own and others mistruths. 

To be a truly loving person, to live from our highest potential we need to address the wrongs of our own past. We need to release our shame, grief, un-deservabilty and un-forgivability. To truly love we need to replace our fears and limitations with a foundation of honesty and truth. We need to own up, step up and move into a truly loving space.That means healing all those parts of ourselves that are not vibrating from the highest achievable frequencies of Love. It is a journey from Dark to Light, one that the whole of humanity is now facing. We are on then threshold of an exciting new era in human evolution. We are at a crossroad, do we stay the same and be left behind or do we embrace the challenge and move forward into a brighter, more loving and interconnected era of our human experience.  

The path ahead is an inward one, we can not make positive change in our outer world until we do the inner work. As we shine the light of truth our shadows come into focus, to be loved and healed. It will be lonely, inner journeys aways are as we change. We may lose friends, we will be misunderstood, ostracised, our fears will cry out to stop, to return to the safety of our limitations. Our senses will convey the dangers of the journey, but in the end it is the only path to take. As we shed our fears and limitations a new, more vibrant life unfolds. The path through the Dark Night of The Soul leads to the Light of understanding, compassion and a higher Love. 

The journey, taken consciously is not for everyone, yet in the end it is. Why wait?
