Self Education
Self-education is, I firmly believe,
the only kind of education there is.

Education does not stop when we live school, although watching people's behaviour one would wonder. Learning is a life long pursuit as we grow and change thought out our lives. From the formal education to life skills our ability to learn governs many areas of life. When we are unwilling, resistant or struggle with learning and behavioural growth we can become limited, socially, financially, morally and spiritually.
A formal education may offer skills for being a good worker and leave us lacking in human skills and relating to others. We may have a fancy piece of paper but when we go into the real world unprepared for real situations we may do crazy things like over look an important drainage system on a major road construction. Discovering the error only after the road has been built and in use.
We are complex creatures using both our logical trained and educated left brain, but disconnected from our higher non linear wholistic processes of the right brain. We are out of balance and in the process pull humanity into a tightly constricted mind set.
Education can not teach us to use imagination to solve problems. It is not geared to do so. That journey must be taken in the form of self education or personal development.
Instead of being programmed by what media offers up, many people pursue knowledge through reading, attending self development courses, etc. Time spent reading books on personal development stand most people in good stead to advance in their chosen field of endeavour.
