Sexual Path to Spirituality

In our modern (western) world sex and spirituality have been banished to different corners of the game we call life. Sexuality and spirituality have become opposing fighters in a false boxing ring.

In more enlightened cultures sexual energy is better understood and incorporated into one?s personal spiritual journey. Religious beliefs from the dominant western religions have driven a stake into the heart of our healthy sexual expression. One only needs to observe the amount of sexual perversion arising in our religious, political and social fabric due to our unhealthy approach to the subject. The modern media machine has sexualised children and portray women as sex objects to titivate the un-masculine male energy rampant in these present times.

The orchestrated effort to remove our deep inner spiritual roots and replace it with a shallow material life experience has left our whole culture out of balance. Men and woman have, or are losing touch with their inner divine masculine and feminine core.  Both the male and female energies have been castrated.

Sexual expression has been reduced to a marketing scam, or a way of satisfying, temporarily inferior personal gratification. Sexual energy is one of the highest forms of our creative expression in play in our lives. When we reach beyond the narrow materialistic, self serving form of sex we expand into the higher dimensions of the Act of Creation.

When we connect our spiritual essence with our sexual creativity, magic happens. When we love our partner and ourselves with the sacredness of the sexual encounter we expand our own and their consciousness. When we engage from a space of connectedness and a mindful place we experience the deep meaningful connection that creates a space of love, safety and unity. This divine space is of little interest to most people, it will arise within them the deep unfulfilled aspects of their lives they would rather bury than embrace. We make noises about stopping discrimination and domestic and sexual abuse, whilst taking no action. We mouth the words to feel good but refuse to take the actions on a societal level to remove the cause. Each of us, in our own way need to take a deep dive into our own ocean of bullshit and fear and find the plug to drain this ugly swamp, the cesspit of of own negativity. As each person clears away the mire of our little animalistic self we create the space for the higher aspects of our own personal (soul) growth. Each of us doing our bit changes the world. If we want the messed view of sexuality healed we must heal ourselves.
