While many people feel powerless, unable to make a real, significant or useful difference or contribution to their family, community, country or the world. This is not true, each of us adds to the colour palette of the human experience, either in a healthy constructive way or in a destructive negative way. Each and every interaction in our daily lives adds to or takes away from the higher aspects of the human condition. Even hermits or loners play their part. No one escapes, we are each an important piece in the great puzzle we call life.
The feelings or beliefs that we are somehow lesser than has played a key role in limiting humanity from reaching higher level of civilisation and our human expression. Something as simple as a smile can change a person?s day or even their life. In a world of self absorption and materialistic pleasures we, in general have moved away from a sense of the importance of community and nurturing the greater whole. We have become holistic at the cost of being wholistic. Let that sink in!
The challenge we all face in the current global assault on our humanity is to think beyond ourselves and consider the views of others. Everyone makes decisions based on their life experience. With the slow mechanisation of our world and it?s influence on making many of us more like machines than sovereign wholistic beings our culture and community has begun to suffer. The richness of the human condition is being reduced to less than tribalism, to a flavourless mono culture.
To make a real constructive difference in our own lives and filter that out into our surrounding environment we must begin the journey back our heart centre, to that place within all of us that connects with something more organic, more connected with a higher purpose.
The journey starts with a feeling or a decision. Something in our lives triggers a need for change, a redirecting of our energies. We begin the voyage inwards, away from the distractions and shiny trinkets of the outer world to the quieter, insightful world of the higher rallies of consciousness.
As we dive deeper into our creative inner self, our well of inspiration, the outer world starts to seem strange. Some get caught here and decide not to reconnect with he outer world. There is an Art to balancing our outer and inner worlds. Using the Integrated Movement exercise and the Laterality Correction from Motivational Kinesiology are two tools to help break the patterns of the past and help us rest habits of our future
